hapfo® CHALLENGE-7000
For the production of large series with the highest demands on accuracy, as well as for highly complex parts, the hapfo CHALLENGE-7000 offers all the technical advantages that characterize a powerful CNC fully automatic wood turning machine. The CHALLENGE-5000 can turn, mill, flute, drill and sand. Ideally suited for large series and parts ready for painting.

Copying length: 1,450 mm (calculated with long hexagonal driver, long travelling center punch and four-jaw steady rest. When using the ring steady rest, a further 120 mm must be deducted)

Special features of the hapfo CHALLENGE-7000:
- Headstock and machine bed made of high-quality gray cast iron

7.5 kW three-phase motor with frequency converter regulated and controllable via the program.
Spindle speed range from 0 to 3200 rpm.
Magazine:
The newly developed magazine combines the experience gained from previous generations with some interesting and extremely useful innovations. It is self-centering and can clamp both rectangular and round raw material. By using the rollers in the gripper, the system can also be used as a program-controlled support steady rest, which significantly reduces production time, especially for slim parts. The internal grippers also allow warped raw material to be utilized more efficiently. Operation can be carried out completely from the front. The finished parts are ejected from the front. The minimum dimension of the cross sections is 20 mm. Automatic operation is possible up to 100 mm. The grippers can also be used as insertion aids up to a cross-section of 130 mm. The workpiece length can be adjusted between 140 mm and 1300 mm can be infinitely adjusted.

All additional parameters are entered and saved in the machine software.
All menus are graphically supported and marked with symbols. All important information such as speed, feed rate, positions of the axes or the current program progress is displayed at all times. It is also easy to operate the magazine manually.
Handwheel for manual/automatic operating mode
A handwheel with display is optionally available to indicate the selected operating mode. In manual mode, this allows all axes to be positioned quickly and precisely. In automatic mode, START/PAUSE/STOP as well as speed and feed can be controlled continuously at any time.
