Suitable for Tormek 2000 series, T-7 and T-8.

The Tormek Blackstone Silicon whetstone is especially suitable for shaping and sharpening hard and high-alloy steels. With the Blackstone, even hard metal can be sharpened if the hard metal cutting edge already has the correct shape. Ordinary carbon steels are not sharpened faster than with the original grindstone of the Tormek machines.
The shape and hardness of the Blackstone grindstone offers a good removal rate even at the low speed of the Tormek machines, even for large grinding surfaces such as Planer knife and wide chisel.
The stone's grain size of 220 corresponds to that of the original whetstone and can also be brought to a surface corresponding to grain size 1000 with the stone grader SP-650.
In addition, the Blackstone has a very long Lifetime.
