Wiedemann tools are heated under vacuum and cooled with nitrogen, thus hardening them.

The advantage of this process is that the structure of the HSS steel remains absolutely uniform. This results in the following advantages: very long durability of the sharpness, best vibration absorption with maximum stability.

Over many years of development of the manufacturing process, the optimum efficiency of the HSS steel was achieved, so that these HSS tools are in no way inferior to a PM steel.

The tools are ground ready for use and can therefore be used immediately.
