TNT-300 includes an 80 minute DVD and manual in English that shows how to shape and sharpen all of your turning tools. The film is from Jeff Farris, an experienced woodturning instructor from the USA and the manual is from Torgny Jansson, designer of the Tormek sharpening system.
In the film, the focus is on the most important tools - which are also the most difficult to grind - finger-shaped profile and shell turning gouges, as well as inclined chisels with a straight or convex cutting edge. Jeff Farris shows how he can shape the profiles he prefers and how quickly he can sharpen them back into exactly the same profile.
The manual, which contains numerous drawings, describes the entire Tormek system and its possibilities in detail. Repeatability is the key word and the book shows three different ways that you can best repeat an existing geometry of the cutting edge.
The TNT-300 instruction box is part of the TNT-708 turner's package, but is also available separately.
