Product information "Wiedemann Extraction Hook, Small, Cranked"

Turning hooks are only suitable for turning end grain. The straight unscrewing hook is used for unscrewing open vessels with a flat bottom. The cranked hook is used for vessels with a concave bottom inside.

The Wiedemann extraction hooks are made from one piece of HSS and then heated and hardened under vacuum. The tools offer a long service life and sharpness and high stability with good vibration absorption.
The hooks are supplied ground ready for use. We recommend a conical diamond file or a corundum cone for re-sharpening.

Scope of delivery:

  • Cranked small hook: receiving pin Ø 8mm, total length approx. 45mm, cutting Ø approx. 8mm
