How to create patterns?

For example, a bouquet of flowers can be wonderfully created by combining different basic shapes. For this, however, the wood should not be too hard. Straight shapes, points, stars and circles are particularly suitable for creating flowers.

Why is experience with these tools so important?

Working with punches requires practice and skill. However, smaller motifs can be realized after a short period of practice. With our many years of experience, we are happy to provide tips and tricks to help you create motifs with these tools.

What characterizes good dotting irons?

A good punch should be light and fit well in the hand. In addition, the iron must be robust, resistant and sharp. If a tool ever becomes dull, it must be resharpened to prevent patterns from becoming blurred. Ripped edges should be avoided, because clean cuts and edges make the best patterns.
