Product information "Wolverine Sharpening System"

Simple and precise additional device for the WOLVERINE grinding system for precise dressing of grinding wheels.

Grinding wheels need to be honed regularly to keep them sharp and clean. This is because sanding discs are similar to sandpaper and dull with use. The grain breaks and becomes dull and worn. If the grinding wheels aren't sharp, they start rubbing rather than cutting, which can overheat the tools.

The dressing jig consists of a support arm and a sturdy holder in which the diamond is inserted. The support arm is attached to the WOLVERINE grinding device. The holder is mounted in the support arm. A fine adjustment knob positions the diamond in relation to the wheel. The fine adjustment of the diamond can be easily achieved by turning the adjustment knob.

After dressing with this device, your grinding wheels are round, clean and sharp. You cut faster, cooler and finer. Your tools will have sharper edges, smoother bevels, and all with less burning.

THE DIAMOND
The diamond supplied with the WOLVERINE Dressing Jig is a premium diamond with 1/4 carat. The sharp angular structure is retained when used properly. It's expensive, but it's the best.

For optimal performance, the diamond should be rotated in its holder at regular intervals. A good goal is to spin it after 10 or more uses.
