Wolverine Sharpening System

The Wolverine sharpening aid for fingernail grinding on turning gouges, also known as Wolverine Vari-Grind, enables the creation of a conventional fingernail grinding. In addition, very long cutting edge shapes, which are also known as Ellsworth cut, Liam O'Neil or Irish cut.

To sharpen the tool, the arm of the Vari-Grind is inserted into the pocket of the V-arm of the WOLVERINE grinding device. This enables the correct bevel to be set and provides a stable and reliable hold for the tools.

Suitable for turning gouges with 12 to 28mm. For smaller tubes we recommend the smaller version of the tool.
