This sharpening aid can be used to sharpen tools up to 37mm wide. The tool holder engages at the lower end at 2 points in the base rail. The tool clamped in the tool holder is guided to the grinding wheel by a controlled hand movement.
Dimensional scales on the slide rail and tool holder enable precise angle settings and are used to achieve the same sharpening angle for every sharpening process.
The base rail is equipped with a concealed plastic glide system, which prevents dust deposits and ensures smooth gliding.
It can be mounted on both the left and right side of the sharpening machine.
