Travelling Live Centre

This rotating live centre from the manufacturer ONEWAY was specially designed for the wood turner. The rotating part is provided with a ¾"x10tpi thread and an inner cone. This allows the use of various follower shapes.

The scope of delivery includes:
-    Basic body with Morse taper
-    Standard tip Ø 44 mm for screwing on made of aluminum
-    Small tip for mounting in the inner taper of the follower
-    Large taper / funnel Ø 87 mm, can be used on both sides
-    Mounting rod

The large taper can be mounted on both sides. On the one hand, this provides a very large tip with Ø 87. Turned upside down, the cone can hold the workpiece in the inner funnel shape. This is useful for holding balls.

An adapter to M33x3.5 thread is optionally available.

In addition, it is possible to screw homemade wooden attachments to the ¾"x10tpi thread.

The body is precision machined from high quality alloy steel, then heat treated, ground and nickel plated. These processes give strength, accuracy and rust protection. 2 high precision maintenance free bearings ensure absolutely zero backlash.
