Scraper KUNZ, Rectangular 150 x 60mm

Scraper for smoothing wooden surfaces.
 
It works similarly to a planer in that it cuts off protruding wood fibres, but the material removal is less.
A special scraper steel is used to draw a burr on the edges, which must be sharp enough to use it to remove wood in particular (but also plastic or soft metal) very finely and smoothly.
If the burr has become blunt, a new one must be "painted on" with a scraper steel.
