Titebond Hide Glue, Liquid

The classic for restorations.
 
Titebond hide glue liquid is a ready-to-use wood glue. No mixing, heating or stirring is required. Titebond hide glue can be applied directly from the bottle (with spout), with a roller, a brush or with a spray bottle. Major advantages of Titebond hide glue are its enormous strength and long assembly time (which allows fine adjustment of the glued joints). Due to its sensitivity to moisture, glue joints can be loosened relatively easily by moistening or heating, which is advantageous when restoring or repairing musical instruments. It is excellent for sanding when dry. To clean glue residues, they can be wiped off with a damp cloth when wet or sanded or scraped off when dry.

• Suitable for paper and wood.
• Water-soluble.
• Good sandability.
• Processing temperature: from 10°C.
• Open time: 10 minutes.
• Press pressure: (softwoods 7-10.5 kg/cm2), (medium-hard woods 9-12 kg/cm2), (hardwoods 12-18 kg/cm2).
• Storage period: 12 months in a tightly closed container at room temperature.
• Glue joint colour: light brown.
