steinert® Dragon Oil 0.5L

steinert® DRAGON OIL is produced according to the highest ecological standards. It was developed in cooperation with the European champion in chainsaw carving Andreas Martin, also known as “Sauensäger” ( www.sauensaeger.de < / a>), developed and is suitable as surface protection for all wooden objects outdoors.

 

Properties: Open-pored, permanently elastic. Protects against the weather. Delays wood greying. Reduces cracking. Lightly fires up the structure of the wood. According to DIN 53 160 saliva and sweat-proof. Tested according to DIN EN 71, part 3, also suitable for toys.

 

Full declaration: linseed oil stand oil natural resin esters, wood oil, isoaliphatic, micronized wax, lead-free drying agents.

 

Consumption: 1 litre of DRAGON OIL is sufficient for approx. 12 - 18m² per coat. Depending on the absorbency and the nature of the surface of the subsurface, it can be considerably less. Determine exact values on the object.

 

Dragon oil has proven itself very well since its market launch. However, as a colourless oil, it does not have UV protection. Therefore, the wooden object treated with this oil should always be observed and if necessary re-oiled.
Dragon oil is also available in pigmented form, with which UV protection is better guaranteed. If you are interested, we will advise you on available colours and prices.
In order to achieve even better results, a primer can be applied to new wooden objects before oiling. LINUS varnish is suitable for oak and ADAO impregnation primer from the manufacturer Livos for all other woods. We can also supply these primers.
With a single application of one of these primers and after drying, two applications with dragon oil result in very resistant protection in the outdoor area. But even with this good wood treatment, it should be checked once a year and, if necessary, re-oiled.
