Scorp
A scorp is used to pull off the chip. This allows concave shapes to be produced on wooden objects. In furniture making, for example, this tool is used to make a seat for chairs. Old-school carvers use the tool to pull the wood shaving from a bowl. A carbon-manganese cold work steel K720 is used for the blade.
