Adapter for Marlin driver heads with 3/4 "external thread to ½" (UNF, 20 tpi) external thread

Adapter to Marlin driver for Kreher hand lathes built before 1990 (VEB Olbernhauer Maschinenfabrik). At that time, these machines had a ¾" internal thread instead of a Morse taper in the drive shaft. The adapter is screwed into this internal thread and is used to accommodate Marlin 4-prong driver heads. This suggests that the owner of this machine has a wide range of drivers available.
