Copying device Hager HL 100-Z

The copying device can be built on an existing lathe. Only the required holding arms with clamping claws are adapted depending on the machine bed. The stencil or original is scanned using an adjustable spring-loaded button. The machining takes place in several work steps through a steel. The massive steel holder runs on hardened recirculating ball bearings. This means that even deep, steep grooves can be machined easily.

It is driven by a reduction gear on a rack. With the revolver head you can switch to pointed steel or bell knives in seconds. For a true-to-scale copy of the stencil, the device has a double button with round and pointed scanning. The stencil holder has a fine adjustment. In addition, the rear holding arm can be moved in a longitudinal slot. When assembling the device, the holding arms only have to be placed over the self-retaining clamps and tightened.

For long, thin parts, the workpiece should be held with a steady rest.
