The special profile of this tool reduces the risk of jamming when cutting. It also reduces frictional heat and therefore the risk of burns on the underside of the cut workpiece.
As the name suggests, the parting tool is used to cut off workpieces. More precisely, it is used to cut a workpiece completely in order to finish it, for example. This work can actually only be carried out with this special tool.
