Product information "Fixum - depth hardener for wood 0,5 or 1,0 ltr."

For stabilization of stiff, porous and brittle wood.

  • One-component, solvent-based, transparent, ready-to-use and thin consistency.
  • Processing by spraying, dipping or by application with a brush.
  • Quick-drying, touch-solid after approx. 30 minutes, completely dry depending on wood thickness and temperature after 1 - 3 days.
  • Wood treated with Fixum is approved for children's toys and food contact after complete drying and further processing.

Customer opinion:

  • can be applied well with a brush
  • is absorbed to a depth of approx. 2 to 20 mm, depending on the wood type
  • does not leave any discoloration
  • does not leave any sticky residues
  • after a few minutes (5 min.) the workpiece can be further processed
  • after sanding you get a nice smooth surface
  • further finishing with oil etc. is unproblematic
  • Smell when applied, but disappears very quickly
