NO VISIBLE OIL - Invisible Wood Oil

• Is an invisible 1-component water-based oil. It contains the properties of a varnish and is suitable for finishing raw, untreated or sanded wood.
• Is suitable for light woods. Do not use it on veneer wood thinner than ± 1.5mm to avoid glue penetration.
• Is a product of emulsified oils, water-soluble resins and other nanotechnology-based components. This product provides an invisible and non-glossy finish.
• Contains anti-UV agents that permanently protect wood from yellowing while preserving the color and natural charm of the wood.
• Is odorless and environmentally friendly.
• Unlike conventional oils, does not require regular re-treatment.

An invisible protection for wood!
Wood is most beautiful when it has only been sanded and not treated with an oil, wax or varnish. But yes, then you will quickly have stains on it. This water-based oil does what it says. Protects like a paint, but you don't see it!

Use
Suitable for protecting light-colored wooden objects indoors. Doors, stairs, parquet and wooden objects for decorative purposes.
Contains 1,2-benzisothiazol-3 (2H) -one. May cause allergic reactions.

Wood preparation
Sand the wood blank with at least 180 grit. For decorative products, further sanding to 320 grit will give a better result.
NO VISIBLE OIL can also be used for rough (unsanded) wood. Stir well before use. Make sure that no air bubbles form in the oil. Application of non-visible oil at a temperature between 13 and 25 degrees and relative humidity between 30 and 60 g/m³ (especially important when applying to floors)

Application
Apply the product evenly, stroking in the direction of the wood fibers.
Make sure to avoid thickening. Apply in smaller zones of 1 to 2m². Make sure that the edges are applied wet on wet (within 6 minutes). The whitish appearance of the product will disappear after a few minutes as the product dries.
Once the first coat has been applied, a drying time of approximately 4 hours (depending on circumstances) is required before applying the second coat. Fine-grain sanding should then be performed before applying a third coat. Soft porous woods may require a fourth coat. When used on parquet, 0.3 quarts per m² should be used. If this is not sufficient for an even finish, apply another coat.

Yield
Approximately 10m² per coat per liter. The recommended quantity for a complete treatment is 200 to 240g /m², which corresponds to a total consumption of 1.5l per 5m² of finished parquet.

Drying
Dust drying: 30min.  and sandable after 4 hours under normal conditions. Do not leave a break of more than 48 hours between two coats. Full cure after 5 to 7 days.
Temperature, humidity and the thickness of the applied coats may affect the drying time of the product. After one week the oil reaches its maximum hardness.

Cleaning of tools
Tools can be cleaned with water after use.
