Product information "Embellishing Waxes 60g"

These coloured wax pastes from Hampshire Sheen are perfect for bringing out the beauty of exposed wood grains.

Sand your piece with at least 400 grit and remove the dust from the grain. For best results, stain the wood now. Then apply a coat of sanding sealer and rub the "beautifying wax" of your choice, applied generously with a cloth, deep into the grain. Allow the product to dry a little and then polish the surface. (The drying time depends on the ambient temperature and humidity). If necessary, you can apply further coats. For extra protection, we recommend finishing the piece with Hampshire Sheen microcrystalline wax.
Store in a cool, dry place away from frost and direct sunlight: this way you can expect the product to last up to about 12 months after opening, depending on how often it is used.
The product has not been tested for food and toy safety.
Supplied in a 60 g aluminium tin with screw cap.
