Durable, water-based acrylic varnish.

This varnish is highly pigmented and therefore suitable for imitating the black ebony color.

Sand your workpiece, remove the sanding dust and then apply a sanding sealant such as Chesnut Cellulose Sanding Sealer or Chestnut Acrylic Primer. Use the spray paint in well-ventilated rooms or outdoors and it is best to use respiratory protection! The spray distance should be 20 - 30 cm. Spray in a so-called cross pattern, i.e. first spray horizontally from bottom to top, then turn the workpiece by 90° and spray again from bottom to top. The paint is dry to the touch after 5 minutes and completely dry after 20 minutes. The ebony spray varnish allows the grain of the wood to shine through. Special effects can now be achieved by applying Chesnut Liming Wax or Chestnut Gilt Cream. To polish the workpiece to a high shine, polishing cream is recommended. Other possible finishes include acrylic gloss varnish, wood wax or microcrystalline wax. The varnish is suitable for most woods and is CFC-free.
