Type E Dovetail Jaws

The SK88 dovetail jaws - type E have both an inner and an outer handle, making them suitable for clamping and spreading. This allows you to securely hold a variety of workpieces of different shapes and sizes. The external dovetail can grip the inside of a hole, while the internal dovetail can securely hold the outside of a workpiece, such as a shell blank or spindle.

As the Essential SK88 chuck and jaws are made from EN1A steel and not stainless steel, we recommend spraying it lightly with a dry lubricant on a regular basis to prevent tarnishing. You should do this more often if you are working in a damp workshop or turning wet wood.
