Eccentric chucking spigot chucks are a safe way to clamp irregular wooden blanks or small components with holes.
The principle is simple and ingenious: An off-centre drilled disc is attached to the end of a tenon. The disc is knurled around its circumference. A hole in the diameter of the tenon is drilled into the wooden blank. The blank is now placed on the eccentric chuck and turned against the direction of rotation of the lathe. The eccentric knurled washer thus jams in the hole and holds the workpiece very securely.
Eccentric Ø 35mm, length 95mm
The eccentric clamping spigot replaces the pin chuck previously offered for the VB36 for the face plate Ø 75mm.
The face plate Ø 75mm is not included.
