Sanding surfaces of wooden objects of any shape is often a major challenge. Sanding by hand is extremely laborious. The KIRJES® sanding system was developed precisely for such tasks.
Inflatable rubber base bodies serve as a support for highly flexible sanding cloth sleeves. The base bodies and sanding sleeves are available in different dimensions so that a wide range of workpiece shapes can be processed.
These tools can be used to give a perfect surface to shaped wet wood bowls, spoons, toys, wood sculptures, in other words almost any free-form object.
A drive motor and a flexible shaft are available as options. This allows the sanding tools to be guided precisely and cleanly.
