Kit for making a high quality garlic press. Only the metal parts are included in the scope of delivery. The handles are to be made by yourself.
The press is made of cast iron with a chrome-plated surface. The shafts of the press are threaded onto which wooden handles can be screwed and glued. The press ram has pins that push the garlic well through the press sieve and pull the garlic shell out of the press after pressing. The garlic press is not dishwasher safe!
To make the handles, you need 2 pieces of wooden blanks 30 x 30 mm with a length of approx. 125 mm and a 6 mm drill. Use the 6 mm drill to drill the blanks at least 30 mm deep. The finished turned handles should be attached to the threaded shafts with a suitable adhesive - not just screwed on.
