Product information "Pin Mandrel"

A mandrel (also called a mandrel) is very useful for clamping pen blanks or similar workpieces in the lathe. The pin mandrel is provided with a 1MT or 2MT morse taper mount (please select). On the tailstock side, it is held with the centre point moving along with it. The workpiece is clamped with a brass knurled nut. With the help of cylindrical spacers, blanks of various lengths can be clamped.

The mandrel has a diameter of 6.2mm which means that this mandrel is suitable for almost all commercially available pen kits. Spacer rings are available for larger diameters available. 

8 standard spacer rings (type 07) are included in the scope of delivery of the mandrel.
