M33 x 3.5 thread extension with adjustable balancing disks for spindle thread M33 x 3.5

This hapfo-BALANCER thread extension with integrated adjustable balancing disks enables significantly higher speeds, especially when processing unbalanced wet wood blanks or eccentrically clamped workpieces.

It is also suitable for smaller machines that would otherwise only allow minimum speeds without the BALANCER due to the low machine weight.

The application and adjustment is absolutely simple:
Mount the HAPFO BALANCER thread extension on the spindle thread of the lathe and secure it with an ASR (Euro) locking ring if necessary. Then screw the desired turning accessories (chuck etc.) onto the thread extension with or without the turning blank already mounted. Allow the heavier half of the blank to swing downwards due to the imbalance. Then loosen the two screws of the balancing disks and swivel upwards in the opposite direction until the balance is approximately achieved. Secure the balancing discs again with the screws and you are ready to go.

The balancer thread extension has an integrated Morse taper MK3 on the spindle side so that the balancing weights can also be used with drivers between the tips.
