Product information "Pen Turner's Overcoat Stick"

Superfine finishing pencil, handmade from 100 % microcrystalline wax for a brilliant shine with excellent protection against fingerprints.

This firm, pure white, microcrystalline wax pencil is a real recommendation for every pen turner. It gives pens made of wood and other materials a fingerprint-resistant, long-lasting surface with a shiny sheen. The application is done on the running lathe. Press the pen gently and with swift, even movements against the turning workpiece, which has been previously sanded and treated with sanding sealer. This melts the wax and it adheres to the wood. After application, you can polish your woodturning piece to a high shine with a cloth on the running lathe. If stored in a cool, frost-free and dry place, the wax pencil will keep for many years.
The product has not been tested for food and toy safety.

35g wax - supplied in a plastic bag with zip closure and card back.
