These 8 new bright colours are a fascinating addition to the more earthy Intrinsic Colour Collection from Hampshire Sheen. The light colours of the Carnival Colour Collection can be easily mixed with the Intrinsic Colours. They can also be applied by airbrush. Or simply rub the colours together with a cloth to create an exciting colour gradient.

Hampshire Sheen Carnival color stain is water-dilutable, non-flammable and has a longer shelf life in the container due to less evaporation compared to alcohol or spirit stains. The colors penetrate deeply into sanded wood and have a long enough open time for mixing by hand or airbrushing. The natural appearance of the wood is preserved. The colors can be mixed in advance to other shades or color gradients can be created directly on the workpiece. With several applications or a dark to black primer, even more color depth and further color effects can be created.

Processing and storage

• Sand the work with at least 400 grit.
• Shake bottle well before use.
• Apply at least two coats with a cloth, paper towel, brush, airbrush or similar and allow to dry thoroughly between coats.
• Optionally apply oil and allow to harden.
• Apply suitable sealant and allow to dry.
• Sand the seal slightly.
• Apply preferred finish.
• Store in a cool, dry place, ideally between 10° and 30°C.
