Eccentric Chuck EXMK Complete

This lathe chuck for the production of eccentric workpieces is a development by the Munich wood turner and master toolmaker, Manfred Kellerhals. The chuck is produced here in the Ore Mountains by a toolmaking company, ensuring high quality and precision.

 

The advantage over other eccentric chucks available on the market is that the back of workpieces can also be machined with the EXMK. The eccentricity can be adjusted with the help of a measuring scale which means that settings can be repeated. In addition to the possibility of clamping the workpiece off-centre, the objects can also be clamped in various positions using an integrated 24-step graduated disc. An adjustable tool support with scaling, specially developed for the EXMK, enables the tool to be precisely positioned relative to the workpiece. The EXMK is ideal for making jewellery. The lining is also ideal for decorating can lids, for making furniture decorations or similar work. The diverse setting options open up a wide range of design options.

 

As standard, the chuck has a spindle thread M33 x 3.5mm according to DIN800. Other thread sizes are possible on request. The tool rest is attached to the lower part of the machine's hand rest. Therefore, the required shaft diameter must be specified when ordering. The scope of delivery includes a union nut which is intended for the rear side machining of workpieces with Ø 50mm. Further union nuts for diameters 29, 45 and 55mm are available as accessories.

 

The complete version of the feed is delivered in a wooden box for storage.
