Silbergleit 250ml

Silbergleit is a tried and tested lubricant in woodworking. Silbergleit allows wooden workpieces to slide easily on work tables and on stops of woodworking machines, but leaves no residue on the wood. It only needs to be applied thinly.
In the past, oil or turpentine-oil mixtures were used as lubricants. However, these often left residues that were detrimental to the surface treatment of the wood.

Application:
Applied with a cloth to degreased machine tables, sliding and adjusting devices, forms  Silbergleit® an invisible and dry sliding film that is extremely abrasion-resistant. The wood glides very easily over the  Machine tables. Silbergleit® contains neither graphite nor silicone.

Silbergleit® provides a water-repellent work surface that effectively protects against rust. Also
Rust deposits from hand perspiration are a thing of the past.

Other possible uses:
Silbergleit on the lawnmower: Rub the lawnmower from below with Silbergleit - you will hardly have any more problems with stuck grass residues.

Sluggish wooden drawer runners: Rub the runners very thinly with silver slide with a cloth - no more jamming of the drawer for a long time.

Metal runners of the wooden sledge: Rub in with Silbergleit® - and off you go.

Questions and answers about Silbergleit®:

Are there problems with painting or gluing when using Silbergleit®?
When used properly, no problems are to be expected.
 
Does Silbergleit® contain graphite or silicone?
No, Silbergleit® contains neither silicone nor graphite.
 
How long can Silbergleit® keep?
Silbergleit® has no expiry date and - provided it is stored correctly - can be kept for several years.

I want to protect my screw clamps from rust. Can I use Silbergleit® for this?
Yes, of course, but please avoid contact between Silbergleit® and the guides of screw clamps under all circumstances. The clamp will no longer be tensioned.
 
Can Silbergleit® also be used on aluminum tables?
So far, we have not heard of any negative experiences.  To be on the safe side, we generally recommend an attempt at an unproblematic point.
 
Does it harm the product if the can is open for days?
Yes, you should close the can again after use so that Silbergleit® does not dry out.
 
Is Silbergleit® dangerous goods?
No, Silbergleit® is not a dangerous good in the sense of ADR. Otherwise, the generally applicable safety rules apply  with chemical substances.
