Kirjes Organic Oil Wax

Kirjes oil wax - a pure organic product without chemical additives and solvents.

Kirjes oil wax is a 2 in 1 product: the oil penetrates the wood and impregnates it, while the wax remains on the surface as a protective layer. It forms an open-pored layer and allows the wood to breathe. This ensures good protection against moisture and dirt from the outside and keeps the wood healthy from the inside. The composition is derived from traditional Swedish surface treatment recipes and is based on cold-pressed linseed oil mixed with beeswax and bearberry wax (Arctostaphylos Uva Ursi). Due to the high acid content in linseed oil, the oil wax dries relatively quickly (1-2 days) and hardens within 2 weeks. It is non-toxic, both raw and dried, and can be applied with a soft cloth or soft tissue paper. It is preferable to use a heat gun or hairdryer to apply the oil wax. This makes spreading the oil wax even easier and speeds up the drying/curing process. The product leaves a silky matte finish in one or two coats. Three coats or more increase shine.
